A delegation of students from the University of Heidelberg in Germany visited the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Academy, during their presence in Doha, as part of an educational tour that includes visits to universities in the State of Qatar, as well as to learn about live examples of Qatar's wider investment in sports, especially in recent years, specifically after the great and impressive success with which the State of Qatar stunned the whole world in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Visitors learned about the role of the Qatar Olympic Academy in spreading the sports and Olympic culture among the Qatari society in particular and neighboring communities in general, and the courses, programs and activities offered by the Academy through a detailed presentation.

The delegation was received by Mr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Jaber, Executive Director of the Qatar Olympic Academy, and accompanied them on a tour of the Academy's facilities and halls to see the building and the services provided to the students.

On the sidelines of the visit, the German delegation attended part of the strategic planning lectures within the second semester of the advanced diploma program for the management of sports and Olympic institutions.

The visitors expressed their admiration and fascination with what they saw of the services, facilities, agenda and programs provided by the Academy, especially the books, references and sources they saw in the Olympic Academy Library.

The Qatar Olympic Academy concludes its lectures on strategic management in sports organizations.

Doha: The Qatar Olympic Academy has concluded the second semester lectures of the Diploma in Sports and Olympic Institutions Management in its sixteenth edition, accredited by the International Olympic Committee, Olympic Solidarity, and the International Olympic Academy. This semester focused on a central theme in management sciences: Strategic Management in Sports Organizations.
